She won the best female lead at the 94th Academy Awards in which she portrays the rise, fall, and redemption of televangelist Tammy Faye Bakker.
Chastain is a vegan and her diet is inspired by her mother a vegan chef. Recently, she talked more about her vegan lifestyle and opened up on her opinion about animals, claiming that they are “the ultimate underdogs.” She added that ” “I don’t want to torture anything.”….it’s about trying to live a life where I’m not contributing to the cruelty in the world….While I am on this planet, I want everyone I meet to know that I am grateful they are here.” Congratulations to a very worthy winner! @jes_chastain
