The Mother Earth Vegan Hotel, in the destination beach town of Tamarindo, has been reinvented ‘to offer you an authentic plant-based culinary and lifestyle experience’.

“We are the first to pioneer this concept in Costa Rica and we pride ourselves in offering you an incredible travel experience without the cost to animals or the planet.”

The hotel, which aims to appeal to both vegans and non-vegans looking for a unique experience, has 14 guestrooms that feature modern interiors, private terraces, and bespoke energy paintings. All rooms are decked out in sustainable and eco-friendly materials. Each room is also powered by solar panel energy and the water conservation system ensures that gray water is recycled and converted into water safe for plants.

The plant-based restaurant Off The Grid offers a seasonal menu designed to let mother earth’s ingredients shine through with all of its exciting tastes, vibrant colors and delicious flavors. Guests will be spoilt for choices with culinary delights such as the Mother Earth Burger, Philly Cheesesteak, Buffalo Cauliflower Wings, Grilled Kabob Skewer, and Coconut Crème Brûlée. The restaurant even has a dedicated zero-waste pledge.

Mother Earth Vegan Hotel even boasts of a rooftop yoga studio and a natural saltwater pool to “stimulate your senses and to help you feel healthier and happier as you connect with nature.”

Proud to be the first to open a boutique vegan restaurant in Costa Rica, the website reads: “Reconnect with nature in Tamarindo’s first 100{85424e366b324f7465dc80d56c21055464082cc00b76c51558805a981c8fcd63} plant-based eco-hotel.

“We are the first to pioneer this concept in Costa Rica and we pride ourselves in offering you an incredible travel experience without the cost to animals or the planet. All of our experiences are rooted deeply in the land. We have an obligation to look after it, to respect it, and to care for Mother Earth.”
