Designed to replicate the flavours and textures of a beef flank steak, the world’s first vegan ‘flank’ steak is aid to be ‘meaty and fibrous’, with a high nutrient score.

Produced by the plant-based company Redefine Meat, the new Redefine Flank Steak uses plant proteins and cutting-edge technology to recreate the deep rich flavour and meaty fibrous texture of beef flank steak.

Not only is the plant-based flank steak much better for the environment than its animal alternative, it has also earned an ‘A’ Nutriscore – the highest score in the five-coloured nutrition label scheme. Dubbed ‘new-meat’ by its creators, the vegan steak is high in protein thanks to wheat and pea proteins and lower in fat than red meat.

Perfect for the BBQ season, the plant-based flank steak can be grilled, cooked in the oven, pan-fried or air fried.
