Marks and Spencer say that they will offer vegan versions of Christmas favourites to customers as part of a new range of plant-based foods.
British multinational retailer Marks and Spencer announces its Plant Kitchen Christmas alternatives for the 2022 festive season featuring traditional favourite dishes such as vegan turkey and all of the sides.
On offer for Christmas 2022 is last year’s realistic vegan turkey roast once again, as well as vegan gravy, butternut squash almond and pecan nut roast, Plant Kitchen‘s vegan stuffing and meat-free pigs in duvets.
Also repeating this year is the brand’s vegetable selection box that contains side dishes like triple-cooked roast potatoes, braised red cabbage, cheesy cauliflower and leek bake, vegan stuffing balls, and meat-free sausages covered in vegan bacon.
New additions for Christmas 2022
Plant Kitchen is popular with UK consumers for its vegan-friendly alternatives, which M&S expanded with over 175 plant-based products this Veganuary.
For this vegan-friendly Christmas food collection, the company added new products, including a box of reindeer-decorated steamed buns filled with vegetables, a mushroom parfait, brioches, vegetable bakes, chicken kievs, and a cookie dessert with chocolate and cream.
Sophia Linn, Nutritionist at M&S, commented on the company’s product expansion: “We want to help our customers explore and enjoy more sustainable ways of living, and our Plant Kitchen range means any swaps customers do make aren’t compromising on quality, affordability or taste.”
Almost all Plant Kitchen products are on sale at Ocado. The M&S website has a Christmas food-to-order service already taking orders for collection on December 22nd, 23rd, and 24th.
