Terror on Our Tables, is set to reach millions of people across the UK with one crucial message: that the terror on our tables is far from the story we’re fed.

Animal Aid in the UK has announced the launch of their biggest farming campaign ever, Terror on Our Tables. The campaign – comprising of primetime television adverts, nationwide billboards, targeted display and social ads (and more!) – is set to reach millions of people across the UK with one crucial message: that the terror on our tables is far from the story we’re fed.

For the campaign’s launch, they are turning our attention to dairy: truly one of the most terrifying methods of exploiting animals. For the next four weeks, they will be taking over digital billboards across the entire country, popping up in major national publications, and reaching millions of people via social media.

Animal Aid is also taking the campaign to primetime television. Set to reach over two million people on Channel 4 and More 4, plus a further seventeen million viewers across Sky, this is the first time that an animal rights group has confronted the dairy industry in mainstream television ads.

From today, 12 February 2025, their TV advert will be shown across thousands of Sky channels, including Animal Planet, National Geographic, Sky Sports, and more!

Tomorrow, 13 February 2025, their advert will premiere on Channel 4 and More 4 at the following times:

Come Dine with Me (Channel 4) at 17:57
Car SOS (More 4) at 19:40
The Dog House (Channel 4) at 20:30
Britain’s Most Expensive Houses (More 4) at 22:30
999: On The Frontline (Channel 4) at 23:50

Their advert will continue being shown on Channel 4 and More 4 for the next month.

See what they see

Accompanying the campaign is a powerful new website, that invites visitors on a visual tour of life from a dairy cow’s perspective. From the separation of mothers and babies to confinement and eventual exhaustion, the site has been designed to be a striking, creative tool for educating non-vegans on the terror inherent in dairy. At the end of the journey, users are invited to pledge their support for a dairy-free future.

Get involved

Please visit the site, look around, and sign the pledge. Once you have completed your own pledge, be sure to share the site with friends and family via social media.

They are also taking their new campaign to the streets, with a week of action for dairy cows running from 17-24 February. Please help raise awareness of the terror inherent in dairy production, by ordering your FREE action pack, including:

  • 100 leaflets to distribute in your local area
  • 2 posters for display
  • Sticker sheet
  • A guide to running your own outreach and/or tips for leafleting
